The Little Bird blanc2 (original title: The Little White Bird) is a novel by the Scottish writer JM Barrie, published in 1902. In this book appeared for the first time the character Peter Pan. Only a few chapters are devoted to this very different character of Peter Pan which will appear in the eponymous play, then in the novel Peter and Wendy. They were later extracted to be edited separately, in a book called Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens (Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens, French) 3, illustrated by Arthur Rackham.
