Kiera Cass (born May 1981) is an American writer of young-adult fiction, most known for The Selectionand its sequels,Kiera Cass was born and grew up in South Carolina. She graduated in 1999 from high school in Myrtle Beach Socastee. She attended Coastal Carolina University before transferring to the University of Radford. She graduated from the University of Radford with a BA in History.
